My way

… of making music that opens up something inside of us

From soul to sound

Since I was a child, I’ve been asking – how can music speak what we sometimes cannot?

I don’t always have the answers myself, but I feel that when I sing from a real place inside – something opens. Not only in me, but also in the people listening. That is the moment I love the most.

Creating from the inner cosmos

I’ve always been fascinated by the inner cosmos of a person – all those billions of neural paths, feelings, thoughts, and dreams.

I grew up in a musical family where folk songs were improvised depending on the people and the mood in the room. That showed me how music can reflect what’s happening inside us and also shape it.

When I create, I feel something mysterious – almost mystical – happens. It’s like the soul wants to speak through the body, and have to get out of the way.

The voice tells the truth

The voice is special. It’s not just sound. It carries stories, emotions, even things we don’t know how to say. Sometimes I don’t even understand what I’m feeling until I let myself sing it out.

If I try too hard to sound good, the truth disappears. But when I let go and sing honestly – even if my voice shakes or breaks – it becomes real. And that realness connects.

Stories that touch

I often think: how can I tell a story in a way that touches another person? How to find the right tone, the right rhythm, the right silence even?

Sometimes, one single note is enough. Sometimes, many harmonies and words are needed. Every person is different. Every moment is different. But when we find the right sound together, we feel it. It’s like something inside says, “yes, that’s it.”

Mind and heart together

Some people think music is only for special moments, or for professionals. I don’t believe that. Music is something we all need. Like food. Like touch. If we didn’t have it, we would start inventing it again. It’s part of being human.

There is something magical in creating. But it’s not just magic. I also love to learn, to practise, to think. I try to let my heart speak through music, but I also use my mind to shape it. I don’t want the mind to stop the feeling—but to help the feeling go further.

We are all listeners. We are all creators.

The beauty of presence

When I perform or teach, I’m not only singing songs. I’m trying to create a space where we can be more present. Where we can dream. With ourselves. With each other.

Music helps us do that. It’s not about showing how good I am. It’s not even about pretty songs. It’s about a space where we can dream awake.
